Your song is built from personal stories, so we treat them with care. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your answers: the name of the person the song is for, your relationship, the occasion, the memories and details you write, and your style choices.
- Your contact details: your first name and email, so you can return to your songs and we can send you your link.
- Order details sent to us by our checkout provider (order number, products, amount, email). We never see or store your card details.
- Basic technical data: a one-way hash of your IP address to prevent abuse, and standard analytics and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel, Utmify) that tell us which ads bring visitors.
How we use it
- To write, record and deliver your song, its preview and any extras you order.
- To let you reopen your songs with your email and to support you if something goes wrong.
- To measure our advertising in aggregate. We do not sell your personal information.
Who processes it
We rely on a few service providers, each only for its part of the job: an AI language model provider to write lyrics from your answers, an AI music provider to record your song, Cloudflare to host your song page and files, our checkout and payment providers to take your order, and Meta and Utmify for ad measurement. They process your data on our behalf and under their own security commitments.
Keeping it private
Your song page lives at a long, random link that can't be guessed, and it is not indexed by search engines. Anyone you send that link to can listen to the song, so share it with the people you want to hear it.
How long we keep it
We keep purchased songs and their lyrics so you can come back to them for life. Unpurchased previews and their answers are deleted after 12 months. You can ask us to delete your songs and answers at any time by emailing ask@digitalmaterials.store from the email you used; we'll confirm once it's done.
Children
Our service is for adults 18 and over. Songs may be about children when a parent or family member creates them, and we never knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including California, the UK and the EU), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, and to object to certain uses. Email us and we'll help within 30 days.
